WANYAMA STAYING PUT AT CELTIC

Kenyan international Victor Mugubi Wanyama is set to stay at Celtics for another season despite reported interest from English Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and Swansea.
The mercurial defensive midfielder has been a hot property with speculation on an intended move in the off season but sources close to the player intimate that the player and his agents feel he has alot of time to develop before making the move to the EPL.
"Mugubi will be staying at Celtic as he would not like to rush in his career. He wants to build a solid place for himself at Celtic and is feeling comfortable. He is not worried about making more money as he clearly knows that will come at the appropriate time."
"He loves Celtic and this is the team he will be playing for next season," sources told SuperSport.com.
Mugubi was instrumental in Celtic clinching the Scottish Premier League crown under coach Neil Lennon who signed him from Belgian side Germinal Beerschot.
Mugubi is currently on holiday in Nairobi after arriving back from Togo where he played for the national team in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier where Kenya was knocked out by the Hawks.
