LUCAS MOURA SAGA

Still Moura distance to run: Sao Paulo deny Man United target Lucas has agreed to join Inter Milan
Vice-president Joao Paulo Lucas Moura: the boy from Brazil

de Jesus Lopes says club have only negotiated with the Old Trafford outfit                                                Sao Paulo have denied reports that Lucas Moura has agreed to join Inter Milan.
The in-demand youngster, who is currently on Olympics duty with Brazil, had looked likely to join Manchester United but ultimately the Old Trafford outfit were unable to agree a fee.
Italian newspapers claimed earlier this week that Inter Milan had taken advantage of the impasse to strike a €27 million deal of their own.
However, Sao Paulo vice-president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes insists so such agreement has been reached.
"I'm not aware of this. I was with [Sao Paulo president] Juvenal Juvencio on Wednesday and Thursday," he told Brazilian website Lancenet.
"We only negotiated with Manchester United, but their offer was not good enough."
Red Devils fans will be hopeful that a deal can still be struck for the player our South American expert Ed Malyon compared favourably to Kaka .
